THINGS TO KNOW

Weather

Late November in Bali sits in the island’s warm, tropical rainy season. Expect lush greenery, soft afternoon showers, and beautifully warm air throughout the day. Temperatures typically stay in the mid-80s°F (around 29–31°C), with evenings cooling slightly but still feeling comfortable and humid.

Rain often comes in short, refreshing bursts rather than all-day storms. Mornings are typically clear and bright — perfect for our 8:00 AM yoga and movement sessions — while afternoons may bring passing showers that add to Bali’s vibrant, jungle atmosphere.

Pack lightweight, breathable clothing, swimwear, sandals, and one light layer for evenings. Bali is warm, alive, and deeply sensory during this time of year

Money Exchange

Bali uses the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).

Credit and debit cards are widely accepted at hotels, restaurants, and larger establishments. For small purchases, local markets, and tips, it’s helpful to carry some cash.

ATMs are easily accessible, including near retreat venues. Currency exchange counters are also common, though we recommend using reputable exchange offices or withdrawing directly from an ATM for the best rates.

We suggest notifying your bank of international travel before departure and bringing a card with no foreign transaction fees if possible

Atmosphere

Bali is deeply spiritual, artistic, and community-centered. Daily life here includes offerings placed outside homes and businesses, temple ceremonies, traditional music, and a visible reverence for balance and harmony.

November carries a peaceful rhythm — less crowded than peak summer months, yet still vibrant. The island feels intimate, lush, and alive.
